Hopper App

Hopper Carts is excited about the Dragon Boat race, and equally excited to offer you FREE RIDES. They are offering rides to and from your parking spot near the Dragon Boat race. Please be on the lookout for Hopper Carts in and around suitable parking areas. They will be offering free rides between 10:30am to 5:00pm on race day.

There are two ways to access free rides through Hopper:

  • Downloading the Hopper app on your Android phone. Unfortunately, the iPhone app is not available yet.
  • Look for large-sized Golf Carts covered in a wrap with advertisements such as Byers, Columbus Arts Festival, and others. All you need to do is wave them down if you want to stop them and they will give you a ride. It is up to you to tip the driver for their service.

Hopper carts is an eco-friendly, 100% electric transportation option that operates seven days a week in the downtown Columbus area. They are thrilled to be a part of the Dragon Boat races! Please remember, their drivers are compensated solely on tips. Please show them your appreciation.
